Resolve - Reopen Supplemental Instructions (SI)

In this article, you will learn how to Resolve and Reopen a Supplemental Instruction (SI) form.  A SI is issued to provide direction to the contractor that will not result in a change to contract price or time. The SI can be Resolved or closed if the Prime Consultant is confident the instruction has been carried out.  If this is not the case the SI can also be Reopened.    

  1. Click the Forms tab, then  Supplemental Instructions tab and click the SI form you want to Resolve.

  2. Click the Resolved button.

  3. In the next pop up window, you can notify team members and include a comment prior to Accepting the SI

  4. The SI will then be closed and information displayed.

  5. The list of SI’s will also be updated with the new status of Accepted.  

  6. The various SI statuses are color coded for differentiation purposes.



Reopen a Supplemental Instruction (SI)

In this section, you will learn how to Reopen a Supplemental Instruction (SI) form that has been previously resolved and closed.   A SI is issued to provide direction to the contractor that will not result in a change to contract price or time. 

  1. From the Project Forms tab click on the Supplemental Instructions tab.

  2. Click the Supplemental Instructions tab.

  3. Click the SI Form you want to Reopen.

  4. Click the Reopen button.

  5. The following screen will appear displaying the new options available to you and the SI is now fully functional.:
