In this article, you will learn how to Remove and/or Delete a Supplemental Instruction (SI) form. Removing a SI will retain it for reference. A Removed SI can still be Reopened, however, Deleting a form is final and cannot be undone. It is worth noting that the Delete option is only displayed if the SI has not been Issued or if the SI has been Removed.
Delete SI
If a SI is still in the Draft status it can be deleted as follows.
Click the Project Forms tab and then the Supplemental Instructions tab.
Select the SI that is in the Draft status that you want to delete from the list of SI’s.
Click Delete to permanently delete this draft SI.
You will have to confirm the Delete action.
The SI will be deleted from the list of SI’s permanently.
Remove SI
If a SI is not in the Default status and in any other status it must be Removed first before it can be deleted.
Select the SI you want to Remove from the list of SI’s.
The Si can remain in the Removed status for future reference if required. If not, you can Remove the SI and then Delete the SI thereafter.
Click the Remove button.
In the Confirm window you can Notify others on the team (Optional) by checking the box and Enter your comments in the field, then click Remove.
The SI is now Removed with the SI viewable in the Removed status.
You can leave the form in this status to keep it for future reference, or click the ‘click here’ text link top left of the page to permanently delete the SI if a record of the SI is not required
Prior to deleting the SI permanently you will be asked to confirm deletion again.
Reopen Supplemental Instruction
Only SI’s that have been Removed or Accepted can be Reopened.
The list of SI’s will display SI’s that are in the Removed or Accepted status in the list of SI’s.
For this example click on one of the Removed SI to view options available. The view will be similar if the SI was in the Accepted status as well.
Click the Reopen button to restore the SI.
