In this article you will learn how to manage your Project Files in RForm. Use the Project Files to store documents, drawings, certifications, drafts, etc. related to the project. This provides the team with everything in one place to access.
Select the Project you want to manage the files from the dashboard.
Click the PROJECT FILES tab.
The Project Files page opens with a default layout of folders that are typical in Contract Admin. These can be deleted or edited to achieve your desired structure. Click on any folder to view the files inside the folder and to navigate/open/close each of the folders
To Edit the structure click on the main folder to populate the table on the right side with subfolders and the ability to edit them. Select 1 subfolder or more to activate the options available.
Options available are as follows:
To Rename, select the folder with a check mark, then click the Rename button.
Enter the new name and click the Rename button to save.To Delete a folder, select the folder with a check mark, then click the Delete button.
Confirm the delete by clicking the Remove button.To Download files from a folder, select the folder with a check mark, then click the Download button and a zip file will automatically be downloaded to your computer.
To Upload files to a folder, select the folder with a check mark, then click the Upload button.
Browse files on your computer or drag and drop files from your computer to the folder.
To return to all Project Files upon completion of uploading by clicking the Close Uploader button.To Notify your team of the documents or files that you have uploaded to the project. Click the Notify button from the button list.
Notify others on the team (Optional) and include a comment with your notification (Optional) then click the save button to send notifications.To Move a file from one folder to another folder, select the file you want to move with a check mark.
Choose a folder for the file destination, then click the Move button.
Use the > < arrows to navigate the folder structures.To Copy a file from one folder to another folder, follow the same process for Moving a file.
Select the file you want to copy with a check mark,
Click the Copy button,
Select a destination location and
Click the Copy button.
