In this article you will learn about the Filter and Search features that are available on the majority of RForm account pages. For each page the Filter and Search function allows you to filter and search the data that is present on the page you are viewing. For example the fields that you can filter and search on the Projects page will be specific to the data on the list of Projects table and the same applies to all other forms.
Search
Navigate to the list of projects page to view the Search function. On the majority of forms this will be the location of the Search function. Type in what you want to search the page for and click the search icon and the page will find and filter the page for that text for you.
For example a search for “RForm” will filter the above list of projects to the following view:
Click the X to the left of the Filter button to remove the search filter you applied.
Filter - List of Projects
Click the Filter button on the RForm dashboard page to filter the page by the Project data fields on the page. Select your fields to filter and click the Apply button.
Project Filters are basically the column data found on the list of projects.
i.e. Type, Title, Branch, Dates, Price, etc.Any filters currently applied will appear beside the filter button. Click the X to remove the filter.
Filter - List of PCO’s COs
Navigate to a Project and then the Project Forms, and the Change Orders tab.
Click the Filter button to view the data that you can filter the list of PCOs COs, CDs etc. with.
Change Order filters displayed are all the data columns that list all the COs, PCOs, CDs, etc.
Filter - List of Supplemental Instructions (SI)
Navigate to a Project and then the Project Forms, and the SI tab.
Click the Filter button to view the data that you can filter on the list of SIs with.
SI filters displayed are all the data columns that are displayed on the list of SIs.
The Filter function is the same and available on the all of the Form pages including:
Change Orders
Supplemental Instructions
Request for Information
Schedules of Values
Certificates for Payment
Submittals
Sorting Table Columns
The columns of any table on RForm can be sorted by ascending or descending by clicking on a column header as per this image below.
The Collapse All top left option will expand or collapse the information in each row as per user’s preference.
