Create a PCO from an RFI or SI

Modified on Tue, 27 May at 5:55 PM

In this help page you will learn how to convert a Request for Information (RFI) or Supplemental Information (SI) into a Proposed Change Order (PCO).

Note that the RFI or SI must be already Accepted or Resolved before the ability to convert into a PCO is displayed.

Being able to convert RFIs and SIs into Proposed Change Orders can significantly enhance project efficiency and save contract administrators and contractors valuable time.

Select the Accepted or Resolved RFI or SI from your list.

Click the 'Click Here' text link at the top of the RFI or SI list page.

Choose a Project Team member from the drop down list, enter any information requires, and click the button Request PCO.

Proposed Change Orders (PCOs) originating from a Site Instruction (SI) or Request for Information (RFI) are first created as Draft PCOs. These drafts then require the Prime's approval.

The Prime can "Issue" the Draft PCO to approve it, modify its content before issuing, or delete it if not approved. Deleted PCOs will no longer appear in the PCO list but will remain in the RFI list.
