FAQs Submittals
Q: How to make the contents of “Terms and Conditions” default so that it appears in all Forms?
A: On the Project summary, click the “Edit Project Details” button. Scroll to the lower part of the page and update the terms and conditions for the respective forms. There is a default set of terms and conditions included, but these can be modified according to the particular contract documents being used in the project.
Q: If a Submittal is approved is it considered “signed”?
A: This would need to be a process that is agreed to at the start of the project. Once a submittal is approved, approved as noted, etc. it can be considered signed. A typical process is for the submittal to be stamped with the shop drawing stamp and uploaded to the submittal as part of the review. The Terms and Conditions box can also specify details on the approval. (For example you could have the same wording from the shop drawing stamp). This can be default if added in the "Edit Project Details" found on the Project summary page.
Q: How to create a new submittal R1 for a rejected shop drawing that is to be re-submitted.
A: In order for the R1 submittal to be created automatically, ensure the re-submit box is checked, complete the form and save. Then log date "Date Returned to Contractor" and a new submittal Revision "R1" will be created."
Q: Is there a way to change the numbering on submittals
A: The automatic generated SX numbering can’t be changed. For sorting purposes, the submittals can be ordered according to specification sections and or disciplines. Clicking the name of each column at the top of the table will switch between sorting options.
Q: When creating a new submittal in RForm , It doesn't show up, and the last step doesn't save.
A: There could be 2 reasons for this, check the role the person is assigned to. First - Only the Prime Consultant or the Contractor can create a submittal. Second - There may be a required field that is not filled in.
Q: Is there a way to add multiple reviews for the same submission?
The first question, is it the same person reviewing or a different consultant? For example if it is the Prime that wants to add more information to the Review? They can edit the review and add new comments. If it is the other consultants when they open the submittal they have the option to create a review independently of the Prime, and it will be recorded on the submittal.
Alternatively, a submittal can always be re-submitted keeping a copy of the original submission that was not satisfactory. For example SX-001 is the original submittal, and a new SX-001R1 will be created for the additional review once the Contractor re-submits.
The way to do this would be to edit the Submittal, click Re-submit (see screenshot below)

and make sure the "Date returned to the Contractor" is entered. After this a SX-001 R1 will be created. New drawings, additional review, logging new dates, can be done in the new R1 submittal.
Q: Can a Submittal Review (R1) be edited and the Dates changed?
Only the date in the Revised submittal (R1) can be changed by clicking on the "Log Dates" button. Unfortunately, the original Submittal log dates can't be modified unless the R1 submittal is first deleted. To modify the date on the original submittal, the R1 submittal needs to be completely deleted first. Then a new R! could be re-created.
To completely delete a submittal, so that it doesn't show on the summary list, first remove it, and once that is done, at the top of the page "click here" will completely remove all records of the submittal from the submittal list.
FAQs Transmittals
Q: The issue a transmittal within the submittals review does not appear.
A: It may be possible that the "Resubmit" option was checked. When "Resubmit" is checked and a "Returned to Contractor" is logged in the dates, a new Revised form is automatically created. The new submittal R1 to access the information will allow for a new Transmittal to be created.
