Add a Schedule of Value SOV

In this article, you will learn how to add an SOV and create a line item for your new project. When creating a new project, the Schedule of Values is empty. To add an SOV and create a line item, follow the instructions below.

  1. Go to the Project where you want to create the PCO/CD form.
  2. Click the Project Forms tab to access the Forms tab.

  1. Find and click the SCHEDULE OF VALUES tab.
  2. You will be directed to the SCHEDULE OF VALUES tab. Click the NEW SCHEDULE button.
  3. The New Schedule dialog box will appear. 
  4. Select the Type of Schedule to be used on the project.
  5. By default, the Schedule of Values is locked, to update the schedule of values, click the UNLOCK link.

Adding a Line Item

  1. In this example, we will use the existing category; Cash Allowance. In the Cash Allowance category, let's add a schedule of value and click the + Add New Line link.

2. The line item fields will appear, specify the line item information.

Instructions

ID#

Enter the line item ID number.

Work Description

Enter the line item’s work description.

Contract Price

Enter the contract price.

Cash Allow

Click the Checkbox to allow cash advances.

3. After specifying the SOV line item. Click the LOCK link to save and lock the SOV.

Editing The SOV - Click - Hold - Drag - Release a Line Item or Category

A drag and drop feature allow you to organise and re-order your SOV by clicking then holding a line item or category and then dragging it to the new location and then releasing the line item or category.

Steps Re-Order SOV

1. Unlock the SOV
2. Click and Hold to select the Line Item or Category
3. Drag the Item or Category to the location desired and then release to drop it. 
4. Lock the SOV
